Stories From The Studio

In the summer of 2004 Natalie and her husband Glenn bought the home of landscape painter Frank Forest Frederick.
Built in 1907, Dr. Frederick designed his home with a third floor art studio which features 14 foot cathedral ceilings,
perfect north light skylights for painting, and even one of the home's four fireplaces. Natalie has recently hired a
new studio assistant for this wonderful space, a six year old English bulldog named Herschel. His duties involve
sleeping under her easel, snoring, and occasionally passing gas.
Currently the house is undergoing a full renovation to restore many of its period details as well as modernizing it for its next 100 years as a historic home. Please check back with us as we near completion and update our studio page with photos of Natalie's studio and works in progress. |
